1920-

1923

Established Katsuyama Syokai, a general partnership company, in Ginza, Kyobashi, Tokyo

1937

Opened an Osaka branch office, in Satsumabori, Nishi-ku, Osaka

1946

Spun off the Osaka branch office from the general partnership company, as Katsuyama Syokai Limited

1950-

1961

Katsuyama Syokai Limited changed its name to Katsuyama Kikai Ltd.

1965

With regulatory approval, established TRACTEL JAPAN LTD, a joint venture company with TRACTEL S.A., FRANCE

1976

Relocated the head office to the current address: Osaka Dai-Ni Building, in front of Osaka Station

1980-

1980

Established TKGONDOLA (S) PTE LTD (Singapore)

1984

Tatsuo Kimura (then President)received the Order of the Sacred Treasure from Japan's Cabinet Office

1987

Tatsuo Kimura assumed the position of Chairman. Yuichi Kimura became President

1988

Established a joint company,TKT GONDLA CORPORATION(Taiwan) (currently TKT CORP.)

1997

Opened Tobu Ryutsu Center (TRC) in Oizumi, Gunma

2000-

2001

Established TKKOREA Co., Ltd. (Korea)

2002

SUEHIRO INDUSTRIES LTD. joined the Katsuyama Group

2004

FUJI TSUSYO LTD. merged into the Katsuyama Group

2005

TKGS (Singapore) changed its name to Katsuyama Group(S) Pte. Ltd.

2006

Yuichi Kimura took the position of Chairman. Goro Kimura became President

2009

Katsuyama Kikai took over sales functions, Engineering and Manufacturing functions from Suehiro Industries

2011

Opened the Tokyo Business Headquarters (Shinagawa, Tokyo)

2012

TIR Corporation merged into Katsuyama Kikai, Ltd.

2013

Relocated the head office to Kobe and consolidated the production engineering divisions
